TUCKER CARLSON: INDICTED RUSSIANS WERE FACEBOOK TROLLS

“I’m a little disappointed that that appears to be the sum total of this”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson seemed unimpressed by the latest Mueller indictments released Friday, summing up the Russian actors as “Facebook trolls.”

The Daily Caller co-founder called out journalists for backing off of their claims that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia since the latest indictment show nothing of the sort, and also questioned why the FBI was spending so much time going after “Facebook trolls.”

The Daily Caller co-founder called out journalists for backing off of their claims that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia since the latest indictment show nothing of the sort, and also questioned why the FBI was spending so much time going after “Facebook trolls.”

“At least we know what our federal agents were doing recently while they were too busy to stop school shootings,” Carlson said. “They’ve been chasing down bad Facebook trolls.”

“Facebook trolls?” he questioned. “I mean, I’m not for that, but I’m a little disappointed that that appears to be the sum total of this.”

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley agreed, joking, “You wonder whether Putin’s back in Moscow watching the Women’s March saying, ‘wow those 12 guys really did a lot.’”

“We’re getting close to 20 indictments so far and none of them speak directly to the underlying charges,” Carlson responded. “I mean, they’re perjury, they’re money laundering, they’re failure to register as a foreign agent, I mean I’m not saying they’re insignificant but they’re skirting the edge of insignificant.”
