President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump traveled from Florida, where they watched the Super Bowl, to Cincinnati on Monday.
In Cincinnati, the first lady visited Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and president Trump spoke at Sheffer Corp., a manufacturing company in nearby Blue Ash, Ohio.
In Cincinnati Children’s Hospital the first lady was accompanied by White House counselor KellyAnne Conway and Jane Portman, wife of U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, the Ohio Republican who lives in Terrace Park. Jane Portman is the chairwoman of the hospital’s board of trustees.
In the middle of her visit, the first lady shook hands with the Baughman family of Eastgate. A patient at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital since his birth, second-grader Cole Baughman, told Trump that his parents and sister would be visiting Washington in the summer.
Cole’s father, Nathan reported later that she said: “Make sure you come visit me when you come to D.C.”
“She was really interested in the kids, she was pleasant with Megan and I, but she got down at the kids’ level and was really talking to both of them.” – Nathan Baughman told.
Melania also visited the pediatric hospital while the president went to Blue Ash to deliver a speech about the economy and his tax plan. Hospital officials, including chief executive Michael Fisher, gave Trump a half-hour review, with PowerPoint presentation, about neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS).
According to our source, The Declaration, Melania stole the attention from everyone, when she emerged from the White House wearing a stunning yellow outfit. Trump wore that day a yellow turtleneck top and brown skirt with leopard-print stiletto heels and a long yellow coat.
High heels have become Melania’s signature.
Definitely, the first lady never disappoints.
